SpamPaint est une oeuvre générative développée par Sebastian Schmieg, qui utilise des publicités en spam ajoutées sous forme de commentaires dans différents blogues. Le programme de Schmieg extrait les informations textuelles et visuelles se trouvant dans les commentaires de spam et les utilise pour générer un assemblage graphique reconfigurant les informations extraites. Le résultat permet de deviner quel type de site Web le programme SpamPaint a employé pour générer le tableau, mais redistribue les informations de telle manière que le résultat devient esthétiquement intéressant.
